Taroudant Day Trip From Agadir

This excursion from Agadir begins when your Morocco Desert World driver picks you up from your Riad or Hotel and takes you to Taroudant for a full day of exploring this charming city. Taroudant, located about 80 km from Agadir, is primarily inhabited by the Amazigh people. At one time, it served as the capital of the Saadiyin dynasty, which ruled over parts of Morocco.

Known as the « little Marrakesh, » Taroudant resembles the famous Red City with its ramparts and architectural style. You’ll have the opportunity to stroll through the center of the Medina and learn about the city’s history, dating back to the 11th century. Visit the traditional souk, renowned for its wide array of handicrafts, leather goods, silverware, and oak products. Berber carpets are particularly admired by visitors to the city. In the late afternoon, we’ll be ready to return to Agadir.
